Which cricket ball do you need?
- 2 piece balls in red, white or pink are durable and popular for training and club cricket
- 4 piece balls have a firmer, more consistent shape for competitive matches
- Red is traditional for multi-day and club cricket, while white and pink suit limited-overs and day-night games
Women's and girls' cricket generally uses a 142g ball and junior cricket often uses 135g, so always check your competition rules. Keep balls dry and apply a little polish or dubbin to protect the leather. Read our cricket ball buying guide for more help.
